Hair Regeneration at California Stem Cell Treatment Center has just launched protocols for hair regeneration and enrichment of transplantation using stromal vascular fraction (rich in fat derived mesenchymal stem cells and growth factors) after 15 months of planning. Based on animal models of hair regrowth (by stimulation of dormant follicles) and anecdotal cases of hair restoration associated with the administration of adult mesenchymal stem cells, sufficient evidence exists to justify a pilot study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a hair regeneration protocol. The study is designed to determine if SVF alone or in combination with an automated hair transplant process (Neograft ™) will produce superior outcomes.   The study will be performed at three U.S. locations in the Cell Surgery Network (Massachusetts, Phoenix, and Rancho Mirage).
